Although I've played both roles before—submissive and dominant—I can say with full confidence and out of respect that I do not practice BDSM. The only reason I'd say this is because people who truly participate in these activities are so dedicated to their crafts that my little stints cannot really be considered the same. What I like more, or what it's more likely to be called, is just simple roleplay, and sometimes it's fun to be the submissive party and sometimes it's fun to be the dominant party. But either way, safety is always the number one priority, so make sure things are discussed in length when engaging in anything out of the ordinary so both people can have fun and feel safe.
